Our Staff

Our advisers are authorised representatives of Securitor Financial Group Ltd, (Australian Financial Services Licensee 240687) and salaried employees of Civic.   Securitor provides quality professional development training, a strong compliance regime and other dealer support services for many advisers around Australia.   Advisers attend continuing education workshops to maintain the currency of their knowledge.

Civic's advisers are experienced Certified Financial Planners (CFP) or hold the Diploma of Financial Planning and are studying for the CFP qualification. Many have tertiary qualifications in related fields.

Prior to joining the financial planning industry many of our planners held senior positions in the Australian Public Service or Defence Force, or have banking or accounting backgrounds.   This equips us with the knowledge, expertise and experience to understand the needs and concerns of our public and private sector clients and to design appropriate strategies for them.

Our advisers have a detailed knowledge of the various public and private sector superannuation schemes and the benefits available.   They also have the expertise to advise on superannuation, tax and Centrelink strategies that can be used to deliver valuable benefits to clients over the long term
